Steve's talent derives from mastering the mixing art over 15 years ago and being professional for 7 give him vast experience in the global scene. By boasting gigs from London, UK to Auckland, New Zealand gives him a taste for a crowds ambit not owned by many. Through the years of his professional career Steve has worked with and supported some of the biggest names in the industry, such as: Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Sister Bliss, Pete Tong, Stonebridge, Ian Carey, Soul Avengerz, Syke & Sugarstar, Scot Project, Bizarre Inc, Sunscreem, Jon Pleased Wimmin, 808 State, Altern8, Valentino Kanzyani, John Askew, Lee Haslam, Pulsar, Thrillseekers, Lisa Pinup, Montana, S.H.O.K.K to name but a few..

As a young Hayes'ian born in London's concrete suburbia, Steve discovered his almost off-key passion for house music in the late 80's and by the age of 12 he was already recording Acid House cassette tape compilations from previously illegal pirate radio station "Kiss 100" and pumping them out to friends and play at school parties.

Driven by his older brothers love of electronics and ability to lay his hands on almost any electrical gadget he cared to mention, it wasn't long until Steve found himself in front of 2 rather precarious record players. His brother also built a signal sender which enabled them to run a very local pirate radio station of their own.

They would also hold a house party at any given opportunity, turning an end terrace town house into a 4 roomed super club, or so he liked to think. Hit talent steadily become known and was asked to play on local pirate stations such as Green Apple, Don FM and most other house parties in the neighboring areas, through the course of time he acquired many friends in the industry with equipment, lighting etc and decided to put on parties for the public, and this was the launch of Squeeeze. Promotion..

Promotions:

31st March 2000 was the official launch of his first ever promotion "Squeeeze". Aptly named for its small venue in London's town of Uxbridge, it proved to be the crazy paving for future events that have now become an international clubbing brand, hosted a non other then the mecca of House Pacha & the formidable Castle Club, Cyprus.

With early success in Uxbridge, honing his DJ, people and promotional skills he quickly moved to the West End creating his then latest adventure "Funkylicious". Now based in Leciester Square as a one-man band he was only too aware of the big guns drawing down. Undeterred and hungry as a cow on a sand dune, it was time to lay down the gauntlet and aim for the top in worlds clubbing capital of London.

From the birth of Funky4love, destiny was written by the powers that be. Launched at non-other then London's voted No.1 Club Turnmills, Steve was joined by partners Alistair Albrecht, Chris Jones, Chris Lambert & Sam Cherry to create the most successful event so far, so successful in fact that the crew ran the next event at Pacha by request.

After two roadblock parties at the Victoria venue, Funky4love were offered a Friday night residency in November 2005 and have continued to dazzle with innovative themes, upfront music and a stunning crowd. Now Boasting resident DJ's such as the Soul Avengerz, Patrick Hageaner & Alan K Funky4love is rising in the ranks with every event.

In 2006 they decided it was time to scale the big pond, with Steve's international residency at the Castle Club, Cyprus, being the largest club in the country it was the perfect opportunity from which to embrace the next level of this clubbing brands exciting career.

From only the 1st year of Funky4love's international stardom, even more recognition was destined to come their way. With Sponsorship from Pioneer, Steve held some of the greatest parties seen by the new venue securing future years of collaboration with both venue and Sponsor.

Funky4love runs the 1st Friday of every month at Pacha London & through summer season at The Castle Club, Cyprus.

International:

Steve's International Career launched more recently in March 2005 after a summer booking at the newly constructed Trojan style bar in Ayia Napa Cyprus. With-in the first month he had secured not one, not two, but three additional residencies through playing at Trojan.

The first residency he secured was at the county's largest and most respected venue, the Castle Club. With 4000 capacity he was regularly keeping over 12, 000 entranced clubbers dancing well past close each and every week. Giving Steve further reach across the land he was then booked to play at Nissi and Sunset Beach once a week for the entire season.

Amid insurmountable success in Cyprus, booking requests were coming much further a field and New Zealand was set to be the next tour destination. Southern Hemisphere summer 2006 saw Steve take New Zealand's biggest town of Auckland by Storm.

Headlining at the Sony Ericcson Sounds of Summer festival enabled him to make his mark down-under. With a fan base on the increase Steve proceeded to headline events for the duration of his 3month Tour at some of Auckland's most prestigious venues.

After success in Cyprus over 2005, Steve learned how he's inextricably linked to the growing House Scene in Ayia Napa. With numerous requests to return the plan was laid out and 2006 became his most successful year to date.

Due to his promotional experience and UK residencies, Steve also managed all promotions for the Castle Club, and again, furthered his reach across the globe. Such was the success and exposure of the venue and promotions, he was soon granted sponsorship from industry leader Pioneer and shipped in some of the biggest named DJ's in the dance music scene.

2006 was topped off with a final Tour of South America. Travelling through Peru, Bolivia and Chile gave him a whole new look at the house music scene. With 2007 almost upon us, we can only imagine what a new dawn may bring…
