DJ Blend
DJ Blend has had a passion for music since a very young age. He started his career in his hometown Bournemouth maintaining a residency of 5 years at one of the town’s most prestigious club’s, DNA. The resident spot saw him entertain hundreds of local’s weekly with his events such as “Flaunt” and “Fusion”. With his name established around Bournemouth, DJ Blend also graced the decks at all other respectable venues such as Elements, K Bar, Bliss, and where it all started Alcatraz Club.
Since 2006 DJ Blend has travelled across seas to the Mediterranean clubbing hot spot of Ayia Napa, where his positive attitude and crowd pleasing abilities have seen him entertain thousands at the towns best Bars and Clubs. DJ Blend has worked for 3 years at Ayia Napa’s most sought after venue – The Castle Club that holds over 4000 people! So far his residency at the Castle Club has seen him work alongside the hottest names in the urban industry including Ministry Of Sound “Smoove”, G Child (1Xtra BBC/ Def Jam UK) and Ras Kwame (Radio 1/ 1Xtra BBC)
In 2007, Blends second year in Ayia Napa secured him a weekly RnB show on the country’s biggest Radio station, Energy 107.6 FM playing out every Sunday Night. With his success in Ayia Napa DJ Blend was called to Cyprus’ capital Nicosia where he hosted “Da Streets” show-casing Cyprus’ up and coming Hip Hop artists, and “Miss Bikini” at Club Bling.
Now based in Cyprus, DJ Blend has joined forces with Europe’s finest djs and mcs "THE NAPA CARTEL”, they have dominated the club scene around Cyprus, hosting sold out events at some of the best clubs in the country including Basement Club in Limassol and Club Bling in Nicosia!
With his name circulating around the club industry DJ Blend has become an official representative for Def Jam UK, promoting some of the biggest Hip Hop & R&B names in the world!
2008 has taken Blend to Beirut, Lebanon as he hosted parties alongside Cluboholics International. He gave the Lebanese crowd an unforgettable night hosting a pre-club show on Radio 1 Lebanon and playing at both Club Sociale, and the After Party at the prestigious Club Scenario. Supporting The Napa Cartel at events in the first quarter of the year, helped him secure a guest slot event in Nicosia at the newest and hottest club in the city “Lush”, as he hosted Slick & Sexy.
Blend returns for his third year at The Castle Club, launching his new club event “Urban Excursion” in June. Also Nissi Bay prepares themselves as Blend hosts weekly beach parties every Saturday, and you can catch Blend playing out every week at Napa’s hottest RnB Bar “Aruba”!!
